Whilst it remains to be seen where Cyprus sits in the UK government’s soon to be announced traffic light system, this delightful country has announced that it will be opening its borders and hearts to vaccinated UK holidaymakers from May, so hopefully we may yet be visiting again sometime this summer.
This time last year I was due to visit the fabulous adults only Asimina Suites Hotel in Paphos but then lockdown happened putting that on hold and pending. I have since discovered another perfect gem for my clients, which has been added to my list of hotels to inspect once I finally reach Cypriot shores and is worthy of an introduction in the interim.

It opened its doors in the second half of 2019 and as such was only able to experience half a season before Covid restrictions stopped the world from visiting.

Park Kidz has been designed to offer an adventurous and safe space for children up to the age of 12 to spend time. There’s a choice of indoor and outdoor activities, including a splash pool with pirate ship and water slides, as well as a two-storey castle and treehouse.
The Kalloni SPA combines cutting-edge technology with an extensive menu of Cypriot-inspired treatments and is the only spa on the island using the full range of Biologique and Voya products. The highest quality facilities include three indoor and two outdoor Thalassotherapy pools, one of which replicates the salinity and mineral content of the Dead Sea.
Dining options are extensive with five distinct restaurants, an experimental bar, exceptional sushi venue and poolside lunch spot.
The half board plan includes a buffet dinner at Lanes, or a three-course à la carte dinner at Il Teatro or Dafne, or a two-course dinner at Vythos. Alternatively, you can receive a dinner allowance at The Grill or at The Gallery. You may also swap dinner for a three-course à la carte lunch at The Gallery.
